Puneet is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and overall investment strategy of the Fund.
Puneet is based in India and started his career as an investment analyst with Arisaig Partners in their Mumbai office in June 2007. In his last role at Arisaig, he ran the Indian portfolio for the Asia Fund and was the co-head of their Global Emerging Markets Fund. In 2014, Prior to Hill Fort, he set up a public markets fund in a joint venture with Bay Capital (2014-2018), where he had primary responsibility for advising on investments for the Fund. From September 2018 till date, he has been working as an Investment advisor with Hill Fort LLP that advices Mauritius investment manager of the Mauritius Fund named Hill Fort India Fund LP registered as Foreign Portfolio Investor with SEBI.
Rahul Saraf
Director, Hill Fort Investment Managers India Private Limited
Rahul is responsible for analysing investment opportunities for the Fund
Rahul has over eleven years of experience across consulting, strategy and business operations. Prior to Hill Fort, Rahul was part of Bunge, a multi-national agribusiness. In his last role, he had the responsibility of leading the fast-growing Bakery Ingredients business for Bunge India and was additionally in charge of Bunge India’s B2B bakery fats business for North and West India. Rahul started his career as a consultant with Accenture Strategy. Rahul is based in India and has been a part of Hill Fort LLP since 2018 and a part of Hill Fort Investment Managers Private Limited since inception in 2022.
Hari Vijayendran
Partner – Investments, Hill Fort Investment Managers India Private Limited
Hari is responsible for analysing investment opportunities for the Fund.
Hari has over four years of experience in investment banking and corporate development (strategic investments and M&A) prior to joining Hill Fort and worked at Flipkart in its Corporate Development Team where he identified and evaluated 25+ firms across multiple sectors with an emphasis on e-commerce. He started his finance career as an Investment Banking Associate at Avendus Capital in July 2014. Hari is based in India and has been a part of Hill Fort LLP since 2018 and a part of Hill Fort Investment Managers Private Limited since inception in 2022.
Swati Gupta
Investment Analyst, Hill Fort Investment Managers India Private Limited
Swati is responsible for analysing investment opportunities for the Fund.
Swati brings over nine years of experience in investing, investment banking, and auditing. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and is a Chartered Accountant. Before joining Hill Fort, Swati worked at OrbiMed, a private equity fund focused on healthcare. Prior to that, she was an analyst at J.P. Morgan in San Francisco, where she led healthcare transactions. Swati is based in India and joined the Hill Fort team in 2024.
Suhani Singhal
Lead – Business Development, Hill Fort Investment Managers India Private Limited
Suhani is responsible for managing investor relations for the Fund.
Suhani joins us from Citibank where she worked in the Institutional Sales and Trading division and was a part of various product teams including equities and fixed income and currencies. She completed her MBA from IIM Bangalore and has cleared all three levels of the CFA Program. Suhani is based in India and joined the team in 2023.
Vareena D’silva
Lead AIF Operations and Projects, Hill Fort Investment Managers India Private Limited
Vareena is responsible for managing compliance and operations for the Fund.
Vareena has over fifteen years of experience in people management, communication and office management skills. She commenced her career in Human Resources in Kotak Wealth Management in a generalist role. In 2009, Vareena joined Bay Capital, where her primary responsibility was people and office management (2009-2018). Vareena is based in India.
Dilshad Gandhi
Office Manager, Hill Fort Investment Managers India Private Limited
Dilshad is responsible for providing executive support and overseeing all office functions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Dilshad brings over 20 years of expertise in office management to Hill Fort Capital. She joins us from Arisaig Partners, where she worked as Office Manager. Dilshad began her career at Godrej Properties in 1992 and further honed her skills at ICICI Securities post that. Dilshad is based in India and joined the team in 2024.
